Which one

Looking to purchase an edf plane and like the F-117 Stealth or A-10 hog, can someone tell me which is a better flier and more durable?

No offense but you have a total of 5 post and they all ask the same question as above. I believe your questions was answered in the other post. Also, you are not giving us enough information about which manufactures F-117 or A-10 you are considering. Common sense would say the A-10 would fly more like a trainer with its straight wing, the F-117 is unstable without fly by wire computers.

Here was the response you received.

Then his first statement applies. You're in the wrong forum. Try here: http://www.rcgroups.com/electric-duc...n-jet-talk-12/

That said, you might want to fly a low wing aerobatic model before jumping to an edf.

BTW - Cross-posting is against the rules. If you don't get replies on your thread, post again on the same thread to bump it to the top (up to two times).

The foamy EDF forum has tons of info on many simple foamy EDFs.

Now, to address your question:

The F-117 is very hard to see as far as orientation, and not very stable. The A-10 is usually an easy flyer. (But it's a twin, with all those issues). Tends to be fragile with the twin tails.

Consensus is that the Phase 3 F-16 is the absolute best most cost-effective first EDF.

Before flying any EDF, you should, with an aileron plane, be able to take off and land in both directions, loop, roll, recover from stalls, fly inverted, etc.

A good transition from a trainer is a fast wing, like a Stryker, to get used to having no propwash over the surfaces..

That's good, but remember a sim is not a substitute for the real thing.
