Best Helimax and walkera 3d helicopter.

Which heli would you say is the best from both companies? Is there a better one for the same price range?

the walkera 4g3 is to small for a newbe to learn and fly out side,
and all the larger RTF are crap, not worth buying, not just walkera but all RTF stuff,
it's hard for a newbe to get into this hobby with out substanded electrics breaking and glitching,
you look on ebay and think 200 pounds will buy you a good RTF heli, well if that was true futaba would of go out of buisness by now, they ain't,
your much better of buy an airframe and making your own, not cheap, 500 pounds, but thats what your want when you know what you want, just don't wast 200 pounds to find out,

The Helimax Axe 400 is by far the best Heli they make. It uses all very good quality Futaba components. The Walkera Creata 400 seems like a decent choice.

i would go for the helimax as i have owned a couple of them and have been great helis .
also the key to what ever heli you decide is set up . have a sesoned pilot help with that part . as no matter how well the heli is built if not set up right it will not give you good flight . and youll be fighting it all the way .

also the smaller the heli the more it will be infuenced by the surrounding conditions as in wind and up drafts .
there are guys ive seen fly the heck out of a 90 size heli and then try and fly a say novous and crash it because if its instability in out door conditions.
inside with no wind or up drafts there great . but out side it becomes another heli altogathere . hope this helps .

Funny how time changes our answers... If you ask the question today, the undeisputed answer would be the Walkera 4G6 is the best sub-micro collective pitch heli available.

Not the same at all...

The Walkera 4G3 is the same as the Novus CP.

The Walkera 4G6 is totally different... it has a HH gyro and a torque tube tail.
