Looks the same as the ones we get up here , there is one squashed on the road outside , because some lazy bugger couldn't drive around it

Some years ago, my Newfoundland caught a blue-tongue. Before I could stop him, he gave it a giant head-shake, and shook it in half! Yuk!

Our Lab doesn't seem too fussed about blue tongues, if she knows one is in the yard she will go out every so often and track it.

Might have to keep her away from pidgeons though.

Yep, that's a shingleback. Close relatives of the blue tongue. Here's one I found down in Victoria a few years back sitting in the middle of a road.

Then they'll call the cops on you... claim insurance against you and then sue you for "emotional damages".

Yeh.... what's with that???

Factories with sky-lights have to have 'cradles' under them so that if a 'burguler' falls through one on his way to rob the joint, he can't sue them for busting his legs and back when he splats the concrete floor 15 feet below.

And when they finally bring anyone to court, their lawyers bleed their 'bad past' to the jury, while prior convictions can't be known. Judge says 'bad boy - don't do it again', and they walk or get some pithy sentence.

The joints gone mad...

Anyone watch "Addicted to Money" on the ABC last night.
It gave an explanation of how the financial crisis came about.
"In the US if you could fog a mirror you could borrow 250k a year", about sums it up.

You can relate that to the ad that was on TV a while back showing the GE Money Genie, just ask and your wishes are granted.

Hmm, I look down the drive today and it's back, went to take a closer shot and a neighbour walks buy, as we talk it runs up the drive and hides under a bush near the garage waiting for the door to open.
