Mig 29 I used this H K 89mm EDF unit in a Hoyae Hawk http://www.hobbycity.com/hobbycity/s...ink_Assembled_ on a 100A super simple ESC and a 5 cell li-po I had good results with it but it is heavy at 295 grm. The Hawk flew good I will post a video.

My You tube page is busy up-loading right now but here's a Flanker I made out of a Stryker wing. It's been flown but I'm still working on the paint. I know it's not as deluxe as your build but it was cheap to do.Twin H K $13. EDF units.... $25. for Stryker parts. And H K super simple 30A ESCs

Thanks (I Do need help selecting the power source)
Unfortunately I will be in the UK for some time I will not be able to make additional changes I try to put the Auto cad and Solid on the lap top but I doubt it could handle the programs
Thanks I will consider the power options. These is my prototype but my wife has made it very clear NO MONEY FOR PROJECT AT THIS TIME (credit Croush) the good thing she can't stop me for making the design. I will detail the base support to send it to be done out of aluminum if I can’t light plywood Last edited by Mig29; Oct 08, 2009 at 12:18 PM. |

I understand finances and wives. Everytime I order something I get caught because she reads the E-Mails. So now I have a flying buddie order using his E-Mail Address. I do love this plane though here is a video of the maiden flight ofd mine ( un-painted)

I wish I could prototype it for you after you finish drawings but I have a few project of my own Hansa-Brandenburg W.29,F-84F,Airco DH.10,Petlyakov Pe-2
and I'm probably going to add a Handley-Page Victor and a FW-200 Is it designed for 1 or 2 90mm EDF's?? alpea 41, what was the actual thrust of that motor? -Chris Last edited by AlbatrosAce; Oct 08, 2009 at 08:41 PM. |

Didn't measure it . But I will next time we go for a flight. Here's my finished foamy Flanker . I don't think Hobby Lobby has to worry about me taking any orders.
But I'm happy with it.

It will have two 90 mm engines with a trust of 2.45 kilograms each it will not be a rocket but it will fly and handle it self,
Any recomendation on a very cheap but good batteries for a 80 amp 90 mm set up I'm still missing the batteries from the selectec materials Yesterday I made the nose on solid a total desaster but I know what probably happen I will make the changes by today and post some pictures |

Don't let little disappointments stop you, Mig. I went to fly mine yesterday and had a bad solder joint in my battery to esc's Y Cord. So I've fixed that and will try again ASAP.

Mine keeps blowing up the fan in the port engine so I took the right fan motor for another jet.

Finding 11/05/09
I whant the design to be just like the real one yesterday I put my autocad design that's base on the real one and my 3d and found many mistakes
1.-The 3 D design on the engines is to short. 2.-The angle of the wing not perfect need to fixed the problem. 3.-I hade problem's making the conection in the nose and cavin section ofthe plane. Will post pictures by today to review. I ask my wife if I can buy the engines she told me when you return from England and start to adquiere the engines |

Dude, I do the same thing. My buddy orders. I pay him cash. My wife will not notice a new battery or reciever in the house. No way to sneak a new plane in though.
