thanks for your input .. this will be my first scale attempt just getting it to fly will be the immediate goal but eventually some loops at least with a scale body and 4 blade head i think would be ultra cool

Here is mine earlier this year fooling around with narrow blades.... I am now running 25mm cord, no electronic assist. Notice the difference in how it sounds.
![]() No tail drive ratio change neither.

Thanks for sharing. Beautiful aircraft.
I have noticed on several 4 bladed helis that the fuselage is canted to the right when in flight. Is this common and can it be corrected? Sincerely, Karl in Colorado |

They all do if they have clockwise main rotor rotation, even on flybarred head with straight tail boom they lean to the right because of the torque from the main rotor even with full size helicopters. (CCW will lean to the left) Unless, it is with raised or elevated tail rotor.

Interesting. I understand now.
Now with that raised tail rotor, is that why even the full size heli's have that? |

![]() I don't know if elevated tail with more complex links and cost is solely designed and manufacture for this particular symptom. In my mind, it is likely to do with higher clearance for landing in rough terrain or high vegetation. surely others with more knowledge could answer your question better. |
