sounds like the motor is fine on the 60amp esc ...mine too no proplems ....i have a pentium 80 for my JS1400 and it has been fine with that motor ...and im pushing it as the js is around 90 amps . i have a long batt lead that might be holding the JS back a bit.

Don,
As for the 2700KV version you sent me. It absolutely rocks my 42" wing on 4S with the 6X4E, I want to put the 6X4 sport and see the difference. Very impressed. Mixed flying (maiden) everything came down warm, but not hot. Not so sure I'd want to run it WOT the whole time, it's kinda airspace hungry. Are you going to list these for sale?
Here's my wing. http://www.rcgroups.com/forums/attac...7&d=1256871102

I only have one more of that motor. Honestly not sure. Based on the bad experience with the 3600 KV motor I am not sure. But the 2700 pn the 6x4 is a low watt setup so it may be OK. I just need to flight test my 2700 KV motor some to see how it goes.

I tried running it on my watt meter ( 6$ watt meter thread) but it maxed it out before I got to full throttle. It seems to run really good, I've got the esc wires soldered directly, so no issues there. I think you ran the #'s on it a while back, I'll have to go back and look in the thread. The motor, esc, and batts come down warm after mixed flying, and it seems like a good setup, 4s, 2650mah,60amp esc,. I got 105mph on a level flight from a doppler reading ( best of 4 passes). I was hoping for 130-140, but it still flies solid. I am planning on trying the 6x4 sport, and 6x5 on it and see how it runs. What do you think?

Don,
Do you have replacement shafts available for the 2700kv motors? I had a radio moment today, was scrolling through my planes, and passed through my slope plane, where I guess the throttle channel was reversed, with the esc already armed, it took off across a bench, and scattered the prop, along with snapping the shaft. I almost grabbed it, but....

Not the prop. duh... the plane. It was over in a flash, trying to do 3 things at once.

The shafts and magnets are integrated together. The best I can offer is to sell you the one I have.
