Lawnmower mods

Hi,

I've got this Victa lawnmower that was thrown out becuase it had water in it. and the owners bought a new one.

I opened it up and got rid of the water, put it alll back together and it runs ok.

I originally just wanted it for one part, then i was going to throw it out, but now im thinking I should have a go at moding it to make it as powerful as i can get it

What sort of things do you think would be cool to try?
I'm thinking of porting and polishing a bit and taking off the rev governer.

Any ideas would be great!

Seems I messed with a governor once and got some awesome RPMs. Pusher was practically idling so I tweeked it. Bought all you can do.

Now if it was a rider lawn mower...

well, there is always the ION robotic lawnmower competition... I'm currently working on an entry.. but that's about all the detail I can give away without NDA's...
