DX5e Help!
I have the flight sim cable for my DX5e I got off of Ebay, and it works awesome with a Hitec laser 4 (it came with all the adapters). but when I plug in my DX5e and open the game controllers folder in windows (I have Vista) the controls all work, but the axis are all wrong, like all of the motions of the stick do something, but they all do the wrong things. how can I reconfigure what stick movements control what axis? I dont know if that makes much sense. any help would be appreciated I would love to use my DX5e with Clearview, thanks for your help!

Not too sure as I don't have Clearview but in there if you open the settings for controls and there should be settings for mapping in most sims it is like this so hopefully it will work.

If you see movement of more than one channel when you move a stick then chances are the transmitter is in CCPM mode or has some other mixing set. I'm not familiar with your TX so can't advise if this is a feature that can be disabled, or if you can change the programming of the models so that you have a straight 4 / 6 channels without any mixing.

I'm having mapping problems with the DX5e in other sims but I have it working well in Clearview. I ignore the vista "game controllers" control panel and go right into the Clearview
Settings>Controller Setup Throttle = x axis Rudder = x rotation Aileron = y axis (reverse) Rudder = z axis Calibrate Done I haven't figured out how to correct this problem in SSS but then again I haven't taken the time to look around the forums yet
