Hello users! We wanted to announce that this section of RCGroups.com (Aerial Photraphy) is now being moderated by site mods and is no longer privately moderated. We know the users of the AP forum are great about following site rules so there should be no major change.

Just curious, Jim, what sparked the change? Is it when the forum traffic reaches a certain benchmark? Thanks

Boy, you guys are strict!

Been a little busy with "life" for a year or two.
Warning to all: don't build a house on two "unlandscaped" (read: dirt) acres.
It'll put your planes on the shelf and a shovel in your hand for two years! Argh!

Was at the park yesterday and saw a guy flying around and it really got me wanting to get back into it. I've been out of it so long I was sure everyone's flying 2.4gHz now with 10megapixel cams that weight 2oz. Triggered by next generation "Prism" switches, of course!

Seems like ages ago I took those photos. I haven't been up in the Monument with the airplane in years. I have taken the plunge, though, and am getting back into R/C in a big way. 1/6 scale PA-12 on the building bench, blip switch on the way, 2.4gHz Futaba 7C just arrived. I haven't taken an aerial photo in about 2 years, so I may go nuts for a while once I get the camera back in the air.

RC Groups has always been a motivating factor for me and aerial photography. It's not as much fun if you can't share the photos...
