FlyCamOne2 Video Camera?

Has anyone tried out this video camera in a plane yet? I'm thinking of getting one.

Here's a video of it in use, looks pretty decent quality.

Flycam

I got one recently and it works great. Mine did not come with the cord to connect it to the unused channel. Perhaps I should check and see that I got everything that I was supposed too. Aside from that, it reall works well. It is Mac compatable on the Mac (OSX software only)and PC microsoft XP, and Vista, if I'm reading the instructions right. You'll need a magnifier to read the instructions. Tiny print in four languages. You simply turn it on, push the shutter button, it will then say RY,(ready) then select the photo mode you want to use. Then when ready, push the shutter button again and it will begin filming in the mode you selected. I've had fun with mine, taking pics of our field and in air manuevers.

Yeah, it's cool stuff. I did the review of it for Ezone. Save for a couple of things here and there, I gave it a thumbs up. And the new firmware update does take care of some of those issues now.

For his camera and his EasyStar, Jeff took some EPP scrap computer packing material and made a replacement canopy that holds the FlyCam whatever model he has. By doing a replacement canopy, he did not modify the EasyStar in any way, and switching back and forth is easy.
