2 engine "twin" cargo plane VTOL attempt

After being fortunate enough to have foam and tape build me a twin (http://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1124466) I decided to build my own and attempt a VTOL version. Yesterday after building an airframe, we worked for a few hours, and managed to make a semi working prototype. No transition, just hovering using two gyros, and two vtail mixers (tx mixing would not work on account of the gyros). He has some video clips that will be uploaded to youtube. I am in the process of remaking the wings with more carbonfiber bracing and better mounting.
For some reason, one of the GWS vtails quit working, after two days. I assume it has something to do with being run through a gyro, but am not sure. The other older version vtail from GWS that I have used for throttle/rudder mix is still fine. Hopefully I can replace the vtail and remake the wings by friday for some transition testing this weekend.
Foam and Tape is working on a similar VTOL Jet project, and we hope to have these built for JR.
