Why a 3ch surface radio vs a 2ch?
Whats the 3rd channel typically used for?

There are lots of things to do with a 3rd channel. Most commonly it is used for 4 wheel steering, changins gears, reverse, etc. The main benefit IMHO of having a 3 ch radio is that they usually have a lot more functions to offer than a 2ch.

Changing gears High Low tranny Diff LOCK (TRX SUMMIT) turning lights on off. controlling winch. like mention above more benefits then 2. |
