In vintage there are a couple of threads I think its Vic Smeed designs with some of his autogiro designs......... check free flight as well. Just a small heads up...I have this twin-rotor autrogyro which has been redesigned by Keith Humber from his original version of the popular plan (MW2247). It goes on to say -This easy to build model is now much more fun to fly!

Wingspan: 48" / 1220 mm
Weight: 3 lb 8 oz / 1568 g
Engine: .25 - .29 2-stroke
Radio: 4 function

Michael Connally's Big Twirl

I just pulled my November 2009 Model Aviation magazine( Official publication of the Academy of Model Aeronautics) from the mailbox today. I thumbed quickly through as I always do since I can't wait to get back in the house to start reading. Anyways, Michael Connally's BIG Twirl based design was shown at the "SMALL" or small airplane lovers league fly in. The caption read "Michael Connally's big autogiro flies overhead. You should see him perform 3-D maneuvers with this model". Congrats Michael, and thanks for getting our slice of the R/C world some recognition. Keep up the great work.
Regards,
-Mike

p.s sorry about the poor quality of the photo of the article pic.
