28 years old Flying for 1 year No kids yet Current obsession: My cybird Hybrid between the P1 and the Thunder Roc. Other things I like to fly are the storm Launcher (it's forgiving) and the F-22 Micro jet by ITC and also, the ifly vamp (lots of birds over here like to come and see it...once had 15 ravens circling around it). I'd like to get an outdoor heli......maybe a blade or dragonfly?? Not sure what to get. *update-- picked up a 6ch skyartec wasp v3. It's going well, I'm hovering and very happy with it. 33 yo Flying (well, mostly ordering parts and repairing actually!) for 3 months. Neighbour is a farmer who lets me use the air above his fields to fly my toys, directly behind my own backyard. Started with Blade mCx, but quickly lost interest for lack of challenge. Then got a Esky Belt CP, but too many moving parts for functions that I'm not ready to use yet (i.e. inverted), so... Later got a Esky Honeybee FP Mk 3 to get used to single-rotor flying with less parts to replace after those unplanned landings! Also have a Wilga-2000 fixed-wing foamie for when I'm waiting for batteries to recharge or parts to arrive. Really got hooked by this hobby. Weather is great here, winds almost always calm down in the valley, but no LHS, all online orders. I like the helis for the challenge, and fixed-wings for the fun. I'm hoping to sharpen my skills on the Wilga and move to a more aerobatic-oriented model. |

Kingstonian.
72 single but lived with many fine women over the yrs. Early 60s we got tired of getting kicked out of wherever we went to fly so six of us bought 35 acres of scrubland out in the boonies and never looked back. Like to fly anything with wings. Here's our website. I'm the guy with the beat up LMH heli with the Hurricane 550 cowl on it. Works good for a 13 yr. old. http://krcm.org/ |
