work party?

Last time I was out at the field, I could of sworn I heard someone mentioning lengthening the runways in the near future ..... are there any dates scheduled for work parties?

Don,

Seems that we only got as far as talking about it. We did determine that the group has enough money in the cookie jar to purchase the material, and we can purchase material that is 4 feet wider than what we have down now. We also know where to get the material. Charlie Johnson has agreed to bring his tractor out to help level the ground to extend the runways. Perhaps if we can get organized we can get this done in October or early November. With enough labor, we can probably do this in a day or less. I'm good for some labor, and I think I have most of my week-ends in October clear. What do you think?

OK...well to bring us back to speed on this topic... I need to go down and secure some runway, and plan for longer and wider runways. This is going to take some effort. I am slammed this weekend at an IMAC contest in Napa, but I can pick it up next week.

Todd Hunter has the name of the stuff we use for runways. "Geo..." something. Anyone remember??
