Anybody need a nice Combat Foamy?
This is one of the great combat foamies from DW Foamies. This was given to me by a friend who decided that he did not want to build it. I put it together, painted it and threw on some trim color. The wing span is 39", length is 37" and it weighs in at 8.5 oz. I have another one of these and with a 450 size motor from BP Hobbies and a 3 cell 1320 mAh TP lipo it goes verticle. I hinged the flying surfaces, modified the fuselage a little to incorporate a different cockpit design and strengthened the motor mount. Make me an offer before I mount the motor, ESC and servos. Once I fly it, I will wind up putting it in the shed, with nine other airplanes I have in storage. I use the shed because I have eight other airplanes in the garage and five more in boxes waiting to be assembled. (so many models, so little time). Anyway, if this foamie peaks your interest, make an offer. (DW Foamies sells these unassembled for $40.00)

Gary,
How about I give it to you and we find something in trade later down the road? When do you plan on going out to the field again, I'll deliver. Gary S. |

From the instructions for the DW Xtra Combat (38.75 inch wingspan 37 inch fuselage)
Set the CG 1/4 inch behind the wing Spar. |

Your welcome.
(This post was solely intended to keep activity in this forum and in no way represents the opinions of this poster or the people who paid this poster to post this post.) PS no one paid me to post this post! PPS my e-flite PT-19 is almost ready to re-maiden after the "ahem" unfortunate incident this past weekend. [Two planes cannot occupy the same space in this time-space continuum!] |
