With 16 or more competitors, we will schedule 3 rounds of flyoffs with 30% of the highest ranking pilots during the preliminaries.

ALES will be by the AMA rules for event 463, except that altimeters and arrestor devices/skegs will not be permitted. The ALES launch height will be 200m or 150m, called by the CD one day prior to the competition and will remain fixed throughout the day. Landing is measured against a 5 meters tape for 50 points.

REGISTRATION is strongly encouraged and limited to 48 tickets. Check-in is 30 minutes before each individual competition. Registrations by August 26 or earlier will get the buffet included with their registration, otherwise bring your own lunch.

Will attend. Should be fun.

Question: my Rx has integrated telemetry. Will it be okay to disable the Vario telemetry from the Tx?
I will still get battery pack telemetry. I'm aware to the regulations, just don't want to buy another receiver.

See you in two weeks. Looking forward to meeting fellow pilots form Canada and the US.

Great to see you in. Make sure you register http://www.flyesl.org/Contest.aspx?contestid=313 so I can plan the lunch.

No problem as long as you do not use the announcements/beeps/vario tones.

Great !

We're just 6 days away, we could use a few more pilots.
The long range weather forecast is showing good weather all around : moderate winds, crisp nights and moderate day temperatures.

Very nice weather is forecasted, we are all GO.

The turf has been well watered yesterday with 20 mm of rain. It will be in perfect condition too.
Moderates winds Saturday, low to no wind Sunday and low winds Monday.

Everyone is welcome to try the field Friday but beware that crazy winds are expected all day Friday.

I have lunches for everyone who registed before this Tuesday. Let me know if you have special needs or allergies.
