N1EDM, Bob. Yes you are correct, it is the generic Scimitar airfoil. It balances just under the first stringer, about 1 inch in from the leading edge or less. I dunno about the tighter turns, but I had it out this morning, and one of the things I thought was odd compared to a 'regular' plane, is that the turns were rather rudder like. The nose tended to pull slightly up in a turn, I think. The turns could be really tight too, but then again, I am probably comparing this to my Zagi style flying wings, which I have the most experience on! So as to a larger canard, I really can't say. However, my canard is stationary, and there is no rudder control, just elevons.

Nice flyer, went out earlier today, and I got 35 minutes on a 1250 mah 2S LiPo, and it was just below freezing this morning.
