I thought about asking the guy to do a stall so I could see what it felt like. (Done way to many in r/c and wanted to experience it for myself) I ended up not asking. I was amazed that during those steep turns you couldn't really feel anything different even though you were looking over your left shoulder to see the ground. Very wild. I am now a firm believer in the value of flight sims though. I have been using microsoft flight simulator 95 some and it made a lot of difference when it came to reading the instruments and understanding what they meant. All of my friends and family are asking me if I am going to take flying lessons now. Truth be told I had thought about it.
And to think that in the mid 80's a guy wanted to trade his airplane (Piper I think, low wing kinda roundish cabin) for my dads boat. We didn't do it and I kick myself for it sometimes
