A new aluminum base plate arrived today- this time it's BLUE! Aaaahhh! WHY?? I had to bust out the easy off again and get after it.

after about 2 hours, soaking in a mild easy off solution-

Needs a higher concentration for the next bath. I prefer to sneak up on it, which takes a bit more time to do, but the result is better.
