I don't know much about the Hackers because the last time I looked,
the price tag nearly gave me a heart attack. I have the same problem
with Aveox and Kontronik too. Great motors, but I just can't justify
the cost.

Sorry I can't give you a direct comparison, but here's what to look
at:

1. The Kv, or RPM/Volt rating. If the two motors have similar RPM/Volt
ratings, you can pretty much use them interchangeably, since they are
similar in physical size. If they aren't, you're going to have to play
games with the battery and/or propeller and gearing to get comparable
output.
2. Maxiumum current and voltage ratings. You don't want to buy that
cheap motor, only to find out it can't handle as much as the Hacker
could.

If you buy on the basis of price alone, you buy twice...
