Here's a pic of the strap in the LE of a wing. This is for an Infineon bipe I'm working on now. Foam is 6mm epp.

Weight foam only - 19g
Weight with strap glued on LE/sides - 24g
Weight with strap on LE and CF tube glued on TE - 29g

Since it's a bipe I tried Goop on one wing and hot glue on the other. Same weight but I think the hot glue sticks to the strap better and is faster/easier to work with. Strap added 5g and shorter CF added 4g so weight gain is similar. CF is stronger but strap added quite a bit when glued on edge and the price is right!

BTW- I sprayed the LE 2" of the wings top and bottom with 3M77 and added two 1/4" wide strips of strapping tape then covered with colored packing tape. This added 10g to the wing and a lot of strength. On the second wing I went with a lighter coat of the 3M77 and only used packing tape which added 5g, still pretty strong.
