There is 11mm of exposed shaft at the moment - turn it around and fit the circlip and you only lose 2mm - that leaves you 9mm of shaft on which to fit the prop adapter - that is more than enough. I just checked my standard 3mm MJ 8031 adapter and it can only go on 9mm before it bottoms out.

By golly, you're right! I just went out to the shop and took the prop adapter off the 28-30-950 motor in the GP Electrifly D.VII. I didn't realize that there was an existing groove near the end of the shaft. My face is red! I'll have to measure the depth of the prop adapter. Wouldn't want it rubbing on the housing.
