I open a new thread upon this freeware dedicated to Scorpion motors.
You will find the downloadable file (zipped) and a word file explaining my philosophy compared to D-Calc and Peak eff.
I am myself a great supporter of these two last programms.
Of course SC is my baby. I know it better than I know D-Calc and Peakeff.
All three have some similar aspects (efficiency versus current space).
I started the first version on this core in 2002 (for Model Motors references) in the VB6 environment.
There are also similar freewares for other brands references.
I have good relations with Georges and Lucien.
They provided me with the motors, some kits and a lot of propellers.
I have to say that Georges is willing always to provide good quality motors at a reasonable cost.
I hope to continue to improve the accuracy of algorithms and the data with your comments and feedbacks. I am preparing a new form "Wizard/Plane" to find the right "motor+prop+voltage" for a given model plane. Will pass to version 4.01
I got very few
feedbacks to encourage me in the improvement of the beta version.
So I am not working hard on the wizard (to start from the plane specs and find the optimal SCorpion motor)
A lot of feedbacks regarding Web'o'calc
