To check for adequate RX power via BEC:

Plug the BEC into the receiver with the flight batteries in a nearly discharged state (as they would be towards the end of their use) turn on the XtremeLink system and move the sticks around. Watch for any hint of flickering of the receiver LED. If you see ANY flickering, then your BEC is not supplying enough power. If you see the LED actually flash red briefly, it means that the voltage has dropped below 3.2 volts and the receiver is rebooting!

Installation Notes:

We do not recommend putting the receiver antenna pointed downward in any model. The closer the antenna is to the ground, the shorter the range. We do have people flying their TREX 450 and 600 setups with the antenna pointed downward without any problems... we just like the extra range.
