Painting an invasion stripe, with its straight edges, is easy. When it comes to painting two perfectly round circles, with exactly the same centers, the degree of difficulty goes up greatly. For a set of Australian makings this must be done six times. Add to this the large letters on the side of the Australian P-40s and it becomes apparent that a set of decals would be much appreciated.

My modeling skills are now up to this job of making such markings but a lot of my fellow Australian modelers will not have my experience and facilities.

I agree that by waiting for May to initiate the Early Bird process, we will make her job much easer and this will be to our benefit.
