To add to Jame's video here is one of my GWS 190
The climb out is a bit hairy because I forgot to recentralise my trims after flying my GWS A-6. But once I got the trims right every thing settled down. That is untill the time came for landing. My approach was too high but no problem. A go arround and another aproach will fix that but when I added power the LVCO shut down the motor. I was suddenly without motor power, flying downwind and away from the lading strip. The resut is evident in the video.
Even with this degree of "nose in" there was only a little scratching on the bottom of the cowling and the top attachment studs popped. This popping of the studs probably contributed a lot to the lack of cowl damage.
