I did a Hogster Maiden
* on the 78" EZ* this afternoon and all went well.
- flies much slower, less 'wing-rock' in the wind. Very good climb.
- wings can be easily moved between planes (I used it on three seperate EZ* in three flights)
- Easier to see in the sky
- slower in turns (enlarged rudder already in place)
- takes forever to land !
The wings are so long they won't actually fit in the car with the elongated spar in place, but this is much easier to transport and fit than the Biplane arrangement was.
The lightest EZ* I use needed a little weight shift forwards in order to stop the plane gliding in a sequence of 'mini-stalls' - other than that I noticed no issues at all.
