This evening I went to the Willow Park Texas at Trinity Christian Academy. A great group of elec. Flyers is usually there on Saturdays. There is a wealth of information and expertise in RC as well some amazing 3D flying. I can also get parts that are not as easily attainable at my LHS. I was able to get the rest of the parts I needed to finish StrongRC’s brushless setup kit. I didn’t finish tonight, but I’m close!

I’m sorry if pics like these have been posted before, but there is NO WAY I can keep up with this forum. Enjoy!

Description: The motors from StrongRC include the tapered StrongRC mount and CF rod. One CF was 1/4" shorter and needed to be at least 1 1/2" long to reach the end of the nacelle. The CF rods included are 2" and this was easily remedied. The motors from StrongRC include the tapered StrongRC mount and CF rod. Description: I needed both CF rods to be 1 1/2" from the end of the mount so they would pass through the engine nacelle? I felt that gluing the back end AND behind the firewall would make for a strong motor mount. Description: I didn't use CF or wood like UAV described on his post about mounting his brushless because of the dual tapers in Strong RCs mount. I couldn't figure anyway to make it work. I think my mount should hold up fine.
