Less amp draw means a smaller and lighter battery can be used. A lighter battery means a lighter aeroplane . A lighter aeroplane means less power is needed to fly. If you are drawing 13.5 amps then you can use a battery that weighs less than 100 grams (3.6 oz).

13.5Amps*11 Volts equals 148 Watts. Divide by 2 and you get 74 Watts per pound and 70 Watts per pound is considered a good power to weight ratio for aerobatics.
