Found a new way to match the GWS yellow paint very closely. Took about 1 cc of Elmers white glue, thinned slightly with water, and stirred in 2 or 3 drops of yellow ink jet printer ink. Painted it on the hinge lines and rounded leading edges of the foam and it matched really well. The Elmers should give it a some resistance to those occasional raindrops here in the northwest. Also made some colored filler by adding some microballoons and yellow ink to unthinned elmers white glue.
Awesome Idea. My paint matching didn't come out as nice, but it was close. Atleast in the air you won't be able to tell the difference. I am lucky that the Moth doesn't really need it, but my J3-F did, now it is kinda two tone yellow, LOL. I'll give the yellow ink & elmers a try next time I need to fill something in.
