Only way I can think of to get that to work is to join the covering before putting it on the wing so you can use 1/8" overlap and cover that with some trim.
I know nothing about trim solvent. I'd think it would be a horrible mistake though. Melted backing everywhere and all.
Test it out on something sacrificial.
Just tested some white Solarfilm over red Solarfilm, and much to my relief there was no bleed through of the red(not pink either).
It is a good thing I have no concept of light to dark and dark to light.
It will look great, thanks for bringing this up though guys, will mark that one down for the next cover job.
