Now for a few of mine. I'm at the point where I must decide where to put the innards. Not so easy on a model this size for me. The last sub that I built was over 5 feet long. This one's about 27". I really want to try a piston tank ballast system on this boat. I want to make it myself to boot. I should add that I know nothing of electronics. I've been advised to buy some specialist parts for the piston system and I just may. I'm also interested in being able to adjust the pitch of the sub while static. My plan is to shift the main batteries fore and aft on the three rails that make up the chassis of the sub. Gordon Lewis sent me a raw casting of a fulcrum type servo output arm attachment that he was going to use for pitch control. I may be able to use that on a reasonably powerful servo to move the packs.
That's all for now on this sub. I'm also starting an A-17 Vastergotland and want to get some photos of that up tonight as well. I'm bushed. Must have walked for miles tonight trick or treating with the kids!
