Yes, the ESC is programmable. You can set the timing in three steps. But I don't if I have set the timing right. The motor I have is a 12 pole outrunner, and in the ESC setup paper it says this;
1.Low timing - (apply to 2 pole inrunner motors)
2.Mid timing - (apply to 6 pole in/outrunner motors)
3.High timing - (apply to high power output)
Which one should I have? Right now I have the setup on step 3, High timing. And the motor sounds the way it does.
