Hi there, Just thought I would share a small mod I made to my 62" flyguy. My problem is space, both for storage and transport. Flyguy is WIDE and those arms are delicate. so I thought about detachable arms then I thought why detach? just let 'em swing. So now I have a swing wing Flyguy.
As can be seen in the pics I first had to saw off the original arms. Then I made two more from 6mm depron as shown and bolted them to the shoulder plate with nylon wing bolts. The forward wing bolt , up near the neck, is the pivot and the other to hold the arm in place. Under the shoulder plate are spike nuts mounted on 6mm balsa "hard" points. When the hold down bolt is removed the arms swing back and hey presto a new slimline superman
