I recommend that you look at why they are bowing. I added pin hinges to the elevator and made sure the push rods where straight and smooth. I might do this to the rudder but right now it is pretty good.

A couple of questions--- are the push rod ends soldered to the push rod or glued together (CA?) before the shrink wrap is applied?
