Chalk one up for newbie obsessing. The thing is that I only began to notice this recently -- probably because I started to get the hang of hovering (still no self levelling until I can upgrade the firmware) and began to look more closely at the copter.
What's the drawback of dialling down the yaw gain? More sluggish yaw response?
no sluggishness just the tail will start to drift not be as locked in.just adjust it until you get it solid but not jerky
