Finally dug out the photo album, so here are some shots of the Kaos we had, starting with a Super Kaos .60, two Kaos .40's (built a third, but sold it when I got orders to move before it'd been finished), and a Sun Fli 4-20.
Also found two shots of the first Kaos being built. The wing is on a home-made version of a Bridi wing jig. It guaranteed a straight wing panel and was pretty easy to make.
Please forgive the pictures. My wife took them with her old clack-a-matic camera, between 1978 and 1984, long before she got a really good camera.

I still have that Durkee can, full of BB's!
This is the wing jig. Bowls are from a muffin tin, and I used them to mix epoxy.
K&B 40, with a Semco flow-through muffler (long banned by AMA). I really didn't have much trouble seeing this plane, despite the color scheme. Lightweight, it was an absolutely delightful flier.
Another K&B 40 powered Kaos 40, this one was covered with Silkspun Coverite and painted. Heavier than the first Kaos, it still flew great.
This is the Sun Fli 4-20 AFTER I got shot down by a careless kid. I covered it with Silkspun Coverite and painted it, renaming it "Sour Grapes". Despite being heavier, it actually handled better than the original build.
The Sun Flu 4-20 before being shot down. K&B 3.5 engine, home-made epoxyglass cowling, and iron on film, it was too vulnerable to the Louisiana winds.
Great flying Super Kaos 60 at the old, old Spirits of St. Louis field. K&B .61, EK radio, covered with Silkspun Coverite and painted with epoxy (Hobbypoxy, I believe). Lost when the radio quit :-(
