The 10x8 ( I think) may be way too much. Try a 9x6 too. The Mars motor you selected is a good motor but not a good size for this application. It is equivalent to a 2212 or 2213 (Assuming the listed size are the outer dimensions.) With a 2212 size motor you will be missing the torque necessary to drive a larger prop. A shorter prop will spin up quicker and the extra pitch will give the plane more acceleration but it will cost you in Thrust.

By the way, someone mentioned that they thought the DW motors were high quality and I can tell you that is true. Very true. These motors come with a 4mm shaft and three
sealed Abec3 ball bearings. You can't find these two features in very many motors of this size unless you spend a lot more money. (I just wish they had a bolt on prop adapter!)
