Servo screws are the perfect size.

You can use #2 round or oval head wood screws but they are a smidge too big and require enlarging the motor flange holes.

3/8" in length is good unless you are using fuel tube standoffs for thrust adjustment - then go with 1/2 or preferably 5/8".
