If the plane is a tricycle landing gear which the nexstar is I believe you have to be careful with prop size. Those 46 size brushless motors swing 12 to 14 inch props and might not work for ground clearance. I have done a few glow to electric conversions on .40-.60 size glow planes. I've run the turnigy G46 brushless out runner 670kv on two planes. One is running a 12x8 prop 70amp sbec and a 4s battery. And the other is the same motor and speed controller but running a 15x8 wood electric prop on 6s batt. Both are tail draggers and ground clearance is not an issue. Make sure you can obtain the thrust you need to fly the plane with the right prop size for clearance.
