We are flying 2 separate Eagle tree altimeters - awesome device for under 40 bucks- are pretty darn accurate- we have one on each plane and they almost always agree - they zero to ground level barometric pressure and start recording as soon as you get 60 feet AGL- just plug into any unused rx channel...

Ah right. I use a Zlog that records the data and then I can download to the PC and shows a graph of the flight. It also on the LCD shows details of the last flight. Zlog stopped making them, but a search it seems that they are making them again but different to what I have.
