If you are a leader of the Black Community, then you also need to address why so many Blacks are in prison for violent crimes, then address why so many Black children grow up in single parent homes, why the Black Nuclear family is near non-existant in so many areas, why there are so many black fathers who bail and don't support their offspring, yadda, yadda.

In other words, if you are a leader of the Black Community, you need to take an honest look at the problems, and then get the Black Community to work and solve them. Once that is done, then the incarceration issues will relatively vanish.

Look at who inner city youth have as "role models"; rappers who espouse drugs, gang life, and misogyny, sports figures who are doping and running around like thugs...no Father around to knock some sense in them when needed....Mom has 4 other kids by 4 other men....

You wonder how so many Blacks end up in prison, I'm sometimes amazed the incarceration rate isn't higher. The problems facing the Black community are systemic, structural, and no one but the Black Community can fix them.
