My KFm4 build is progressing..
Because of the way I build, I am having to modify quite a few of the parts, mostly simplifying shapes..
Even my KFsteps are kept easy.. roughly at a half way ....here are a load of pics..
All joints are butt fitted, no tags, then a bead of cool melt is added as a strengthener

The main layer of the wing is cut in one piece, but the KF outer layers were cut in sections so they all fitted on the one sheet.. with good glued joints no strength is lost
I started below with the floats.. the side walls needed material removed to fit over my steps..similarly the formers needed adjusting and chamfering
square cf 4mm tube was used to add the stiffness to the rear fins section.. 6mm cf flat was used in the tail plane
the hatch hole was filled back in..the leads were run through a cutout in the main wing before fitting the last outer KF layer
The bottom fuz is altered ..the lower KF is simply extended fore and aft, and will be shaped and taped later
on the top similar layers are added, before the Fuz is built on
