It just comes down to you get what you pay for. In principle, the HK gear will work. In practice, it will work for only a short distance, and even at that you'll need to be aware of issues with the lower end gear. Reliability IS an issue. My advice is to do your homework, understand how each works and how they interact with eachother. It took me nearly a year to decide what components to use for my first FPV setup. In that time I was able to save up for a quality setup as well as get my Ham license. If its your first setup I HIGHLY advice getting a package deal. Like the ones you'll find on the ReadymadeRC website. There's no guessing about wiring, plugs or even batteries. Just my .02.
