I have had my 8FGS back from repair for about two weeks now. Needless to say I wonder why I did not conver sooner. I love it. I have been following the introduction of the 14GS with interest. I am not a fan of telemetry, as I will not take my eyes off of my aircraft while it is in flight to look at my transmitter for telemetry. Besides I use only A123's and receiver voltage is never an issue.

About the only thing the 14GS has that the 8FGS does not is the ability to slow servos. I had this feature for at least 8 years when I was flying JR and never used it. And I won't be using anything but FASST receivers.

So I will bee happily keeping my new 8FGS and loving it. From my point of view the only thing I would gain is a new case. Not worth the extra money to me.

Warm Regards,
