I'll pipe in, since my conversion is the same, except I didn't hinge the access flap on my cowl
60 ounces of battery,.. so 3.75 lbs. for the two 5S4P thunder power packs,.. at about $770 or so in cost. I originally had a 22X10 on mine, and when I needed a replacement prop I didn't have another 22X10 (which was 2500+ watts and I could fly about 10 minutes if flown very hard the whole time). Went to the 20X11 and haven't checked amps or total watts but is probably down to 2000 watts or so, however, flight performance is better,.. everything is much much cooler, and flight times are WAY up. Judging from this performance, I'd think this system could easily pull a 30 lb bipe in a "scale" fashion. since it will climb from hover,.. thrust is well above 14 lbs ,.. and pitch speed is,...if anything,.. a bit high. Since I haven't checked this current setup, i don't know voltage numbers,.. however,..the same pack with a different winding C50 and different prop has shown 38 volts at 81 amps load(yes,.. just over 3000 watts). Pack capacity is 8000mah.
