LDM....nice to see you back to work on this. As far as my big ESM 190 D9, ive found, as a result of the scale length(meaning long) of the gear struts....that in order to land without bouncing, full flaps must be used even in windy conditions. Half flaps only makes the plane float and float on and on.

Also, I added another 6 ounces of dead weight up in the cowl to try and make it plant the gear on touchdown. Seems to have worked well.

Thought I might share my experiences on mine even though its bigger. Might help, might not.

Not sure if you saw, but at the Warbirds over the Rockies event late Sept, I scored an ESM DO-335 for only $480 and got the electric retracts in with the deal. TBM will be getting in some V3 actuataors at some point and I will switch out the v2 ones. This plane is kinda on the back burner waiting for that. So in the mean time, I got a Black Horse Stuka and am currently building that.
