It's gratifying to see that someone turned that page from my website
into a PDF file and that the method is still being spread around. It's been over 10 years now since I came up with it and apparently a lot of people have adopted it.
The only downside that I'm aware of is that it requires you to configure your flap stick so that stick-up is flaps-down and vice versa, which is the opposite of the conventional method. I'm now stuck doing it that way because it's too hard to unlearn. Even though I rarely fly powered gliders nowadays, I still program my flap stick the opposite of everyone else.
