I feel your pain but what you have to do is really research the bird you plan to buy. I would suggest looking at HeliFreak and all the stickies about the 130X. This bird does have some issues out of the box but if you do your homework before you fly, you will be rewarded with a great flying bird. It sounds like to me the Nano is the bird for you, but make sure the pitch on your blades is level at 50%. It seems that quite a few are not and if you try to fly it that way, you are not going to be happy particularly since you seem to be new at CP. If you aren't sure about any bird that you buy and are not sure what to do, ALWAYS ask for help. There are a lot of experienced heli pilots that will be more than glad to help you.
The first one I pulled out of the box at the LHS had the ball links of the swashplate bent up about 30 degrees above the 45 which gave it a ton of negative pitch at center stick. I flew it first without looking and noticed how little collective it had, so when I went to check the swash that's when I noticed it. VERY thin plastic as well, you have to be really careful with it and I think some may have had the ball links pushed on too forcefully which bends them up resulting in negative pitch. 2nd one was spot on and flew great so I went with that one.
